Heidi Gronauer is director of ZeLIG school for documentary, television and new media, Bolzano since 1990 and she is responsible for the development of the various documentary related projects and filmproductions the school realizes
ZeLIG School for Documentary, is an educational centre based in Bolzano since 1988 who runs a three language vocational training course in documentary filmmaking. ZeLIG does not follow one tradition of documentary filmmaking, but encourages the exploration of different styles, formats, esthetics, approaches and traditions. An important part of ZeLIG’s mission is its creative focus on multi-lingual, multi-cultural tradition. Within this vision ZeLIG developed ESoDoc , supported by the EU’s Creative Europe Programme. ESoDoc is the training initiative for media professionals who are eager to develop the potential of their documentary and new media project to engage the audience and bring change to the society.
